We are extremely lucky to live in excellent Elk country! New Mexico consistently holds some of the biggest bulls in North America! Archery hunting these giant bulls is a great way to get up close and personal with the trophy of a lifetime! Our hunts are broken up into 2 different time frames. Sept. 1-14 and Sept. 15-24. Both of these hunts can produce big trophy bulls. Our guides are excellent at calling mature bulls into archery range. New Mexico has the single best Youth Elk hunts in the nation! No other state gives the Youth the opportunity’s that NM does. Our Youth Hunt takes place the first part of October when the bulls are in full swing rut! We are consistently calling in bulls to close ranges which makes this hunt extremely exciting for a youngster! A sure way to get a kid hooked on hunting the Southwest! Get with us and get your youth in for the draws. We can also utilize landowner tags on this hunt to guarantee you a spot! (Youth cannot turn 18 prior to the opening day of the hunt which is the 1st week of Oct.)

The trophy unit that we primarily hunt and live in is a primitive weapons-only unit. This means there isn’t a rifle hunt for elk at all. Our bulls because of this are more mature and bigger than units that rifle hunt. We are focusing on bulls in the 320″ to 400″ mark on these hunts! There are 3 different hunts to pick from: “Early Hunt” which is usually the 12th of October “Middle” hunt dates are the third week of October and the “Late Hunt which is the week prior to Thanksgiving.
